Stratheyre is a family run home and a warm welcome awaits you in our self-build home which was built in 2002. We are situated 4 miles north of Portree, our house is in the ideal location for touring Skye, we are 10 miles from Uig and 18 miles from Dunvegan.

As Stratheyre is situated in Central Skye, some of the main attractions the Island has to offer are close by. Attractions include the Trotternish Ridge which boasts the Old Man of Storr and the Quiraing.

Stratheyre is also an ideal base for guests who wish to explore The Cuillin Ridge, Dunvegan Castle and gardens, and Flora MacDonald's monument, Old Man of Storr.

We are located beside a local river where you can buy a permit for the day to go fishing, fancy a round of golf or horse riding all within a couple of miles (they can all be found at Skeabost House Hotel).

Skeabost House Hotel is a 15 minute walk from our premises, they also provide a public bar and evening meals, or fancy further a field Edinbane Inn provides lovely food. Portree has various restaurants and pubs, Marmalade, Bosville, Caledonian Hotel, Rosedale, Sea Breezes, Cuillin Hills the list could go on!

the rooms

We have one spacious double room (en-suite), with seating area for two to admire the views. There is a lovely large garden with two patio seating areas and children's garden furniture for your use.

Bedrooms at Stratheyre are equipped with a Flat Screen TV with Freeview, Free Wifi Internet access, Radio Alarm Clocks and Hair Dryers.

Guests will find a well Stocked Hospitality Tray in the Room. There is ample Off Road Parking and a Large Garden with Patio and Seating Area for Guests use.
